A George III teapot
of moulded oval form, on ball feet and with a tapering angular spout, polished wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with flute-carved oval ivory finial, bright-cut with friezes of foliage and with two oval cartouches, one engraved with an armorial, the other with traces of a crest, Robert Hennell, London probably 1790 - 5¾in. (14.50cm.), 15.25oz. gross.
