A George III eight-bottle cruet
of oval form, on curved feet and with a central tapering stem with engraved oval handle, the pierced body bright-cut with paterae and floral, foliate and drapery swags and pierced with fleurs de lys, one side with a vacant circular cartouche, the waved rim applied with beaded mount, fitted with eight various silver-mounted glass condiment bottles, some with later mounts, the cruet probably George Brasier, London 1789 - 10½in. (26.75cm.) overall.
