1. Chen Dingshan (1897-?), dated bingxu year (1946), describing the occasion when this scroll was presented as a gift to Zhang Daqian by Wu Yuanhui on being accepted as a student of Zhang's, signed with two seals; and
2. Gao Shiqi, recording the purchase of this scroll in the gengwu year of the Kangxi era (1690) by Gao for eighteen teals of [silver or gold], signed, with one seal
