The case with arched top and applied with a glazed mercury Fahrenheit/Centigrade thermometer to the trunk, with brass cistern cover and gimbal wall mount, concealed tube, with glass panel to two-day angled bone plates signed HOWLAND & DONNELL./BATH./ME., with twin sliding vernier scales -- 36½in. (92.5cm.) high
