The long rope of natural pearls with seed pearl spacers to the old-cut diamond clasp, mounted in silver and gold, 180.0 cm long
With report no. 0303038 dated 13 March 2003 from the Gübelin Gem Lab stating that the pearls are natural saltwater pearls

This rope of natural pearls was owned by Princess Helene of Thurn und Taxis (1834-1890) the eldest daughter of Duke Maximilian in Bavaria and sister of Elizabeth (Sissi), wife of Emperor Franz Josef of Austria. She married Erbprinz Maximilian Anton von Thurn und Taxis in 1858.
