A Meissen allegorical group of three putti
probably after an original by J. J. Kändler, the winged putti modelled seated, wearing loose drapes, one holding a globe and deviders whilst another looks on, the third with an open book and an eye-glass, on a rocky-moulded mound above a shaped base moulded with an entwined ribbed section above a band of leaves, painted in colours and gilt, blue crossed swords mark, incised 13, Pressnummer 51 -- 7 1/8in. (18.2cm.) high, late 19th century (some damages and restoration)
