A WEST ANATOLIAN PRAYER RUG
Possibly Ushak, 18th Century
The rust-red field with a central vase issuing a column of radiating quatre fleurs motifs comprising tulips, carnations, hyacinths and peonies, beneath a gabled arched blue band of angular vine within an ivory border of rosettes and meandering floral sprays
Approximately 5 ft. 2 in. x 3 ft. 7 in. (157 x 109 cm.)
