oviform, the flared neck above twin scroll-moulded handles to the shoulders above a laurel-leaf moulded band, painted to the centre with vignettes of figures before castles and churches in hilly rural landscapes, the lower section fluted, set on a circular foot moulded with another wreath above a square base moulded with scrolls, blue F mark and incised marks -- 13in. (33cm.) high, circa 1790
