The hood with fretwork panels to sides and above the arch, brass stop-fluted columns, with conforming columns to trunk and plinth, 13 in. wide brass dial with eagle and urn spandrels to a silvered chapter ring, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture, possibly later plaque signed Chris. Goddard/LONDON, with strike/silent ring in the arch above, the four pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack strike on bell; case possibly associated to movement and dial
