A pair of Paris porcelain tapering pot-pourri vases and pierced covers
each painted with continuous scenes of figures on balconies below gothick arches, one painted with Joan of Arc, a lady to the reverse, the other painted with a couple, two men to the reverse, wearing late Medieval dress, between gilt bands, each with twin lion mask-handled, supported on four paw feet on square section bases -- 4¾in. (12.1cm.) high overall, 19th century (minute chips, slight wear and minor firing faults)
