MIDDLE KINGDOM, DYNASTY XI-XIV, 2040-1640 B.C.
Each depicting a striding male figure with the left leg advanced, wearing a knee-length kilt, with closely-cropped hair and large painted eyes, the separately-made arms doweled at the shoulders and elbows, one with one arm bent and one straight, and one with both arms bent and projecting forward, both preserving traces of pigment throughout
