The tondo with a crouching archer, his left leg obscured by his circular shield, his right leg bent acutely, the toes curving along the reserved border, his bow in his extended left hand, drawing the bowstring with his right hand, nude but for greaves and a helmet, the cheek-guards raised, a row of dots at the base of the crest, a quiver suspended over his shoulders, the strap in added red, the shield with a horse as the blazon, kalos twice in the field
