Standing on an integral round plinth, the left leg bent at the knee, the muscular satyr depicted nude and ithyphallic, his bent right arm akimbo, the left lowered, with a bald pate, his oval face framed by a long moustache and beard

Dr. Herbert Cahn, op. cit., informs that this figure was found at Bertoli, near Cortona, in 1870, with a red-figured plate attributed to the Cerberus Painter.
