of narrow tapering form, sinew sewn and lane-stitched in yellow, white-heart red and three shades of blue beads, central panel with a stepped diamond enclosing a cross on one side, three similar elements on the other, upper panel painted with red pigment overall, bands of geometric motifs down the sides and encircling the top, bottom panel of slats cut from painted parfleche and wrapped with ivory and red porcupine quills, a jumble of hide fringe below
