comprised of a walrus hide belt with metal buckle, overlaid with a circular ivory plaque, carved in relief with the head of a polar bear, its open mouth showing a painted red interior and large incisors, with eyes and nose of metal inlay, a tapering knife sheath suspended below, enclosing a knife with metal blade and ivory handle, carved with a full length polar bear on one side and a walrus on the other, incised geometric design below
