In the form of an egg in an ornate gilt-metal part enamelled egg cup, the egg cup on scrollwork foliate base with decorated scrollwork sides, the egg hinged to reveal a set of steel sewing tools comprising: a thimble; a pair of scissors; a needlecase and a stiletto -- 4¼ins.
