Of casket form, the cover with a faceted steel stud border and opening to reveal a mirrored interior and a set of Palais Royal sewing tools comprising:
three silver-topped clear glass bottles;
two gilt-metal topped clear glass bottles;
a silver funnel and a part funnel;
a mother-of-pearl needlecase with applied pansy motif;
a mother-of-pearl part stiletto with clenched hand handle;
a mother-of-pearl handled pair of scissors;
a mother-of-pearl thimble;
a gilt-metal topped clear glass scent bottle;
and a mother-of-pearl tambourhook;
the plush lining incorporating two embroidered pin cushions, a single piece comb playing two airs -- length of case 10.5cms. (26.8cms.)
