The castle mounted on a rosewood and marquetry plinth and formerly under glass dome, dial with engraved chapters, the eight day twin barrel clock movement with Brocot regulation and strike on bell, stamped for LECHNER JOSZEF/17015/PEST and JAPY FRÈRES with number 10054 below, now with six medieval figures parading on tracks to the front, driven by an independent spring barrel and with trip to the side, the plinth also housing a musical movement with 4 in. (10 cm.) long pinned cylinder and steel comb, with trip to the side; pendulum, two winding keys
26 in. (66 cm.) high, 20½ in. (52 cm.) wide
