The foliate engraved gilt-brass top plate with revolving globe applied with pewter chapter ring, with strike disc to side, the movement with rectangular plates, chain fusee for the going train with verge escapement having foliate pierced and engraved balance cock and calibrated brass regulation dial, going barrel for the strike train with countwheel strike on bell to underside of case, the back plate signed GOTTFRID TORBORCH MÜNCHEN; lacking winding key
