FIRST LATIN TRANSLATION of the penultimate tractate of the Nezikim (the fourth of the Mishna's six orders), which contains moral and religious sayings of a more general nature than much of the text. Fagius's dedication is to his pupils Albert Blaurer and Jacob and Ulrich Zwick, and is followed by an introductory Latin poem by Konrad Hirz, addressed to youths who study Hebrew. This is the third of an interesting group of works printed by Fagius (1504-1549) at Isny between 1541 and 1544; Adams M-1484; Cowley p. 446; Fürst I, p. 266; Steinschneider Bibliographisches Handbuch 595.
