"A developed colour. A spicy and somewhat smoky nose. Still lots of fruit - prunes steeped in rum, warm and harmonious, delicate palate with exceptional balance. A lacy feeling in the mouth - by no means a blockbuster - but a fabulous rich wine now full of finesse. February 2003. RB.
