[London: Richard Pynson, 31 August 1525]. Volume II only, 2° (315 x 215mm), title within Holbein's woodcut Lars Porsena border, full-page royal arms on verso, woodcut initials (lacks PP3&4 and all after 3E2, 60 leaves, first 14 leaves from another copy, many lower-corners in the first half of the book affected by damp, light discolouration and some waterstaining). 17th-century dark calf (rebacked, rubbed). Provenance: Thomas Carnhath? (contemporary signature on title) -- Thomas Archer, possibly James I's chaplain (1554-1630?, signature and price, 25s 8d, on title) -- Bedford Library (17th-century inscription and pressmark) -- Thomas Edward Watson (bookplate; by descent to the present owners).
