Tasting note: The 1990 Riesling Clos Hauserer V.T. displays a cherry and wet stone-scented nose, and exceptionally high acidity that masks some of the wine's huge, rich fruit. Its razor-sharp focus, fabulous depth, and long finish are admirable. The most backward of the four Vendange Tardive Rieslings, it should last for up to two decades. Although quantities are limited, this wine is a must purchase if you are a Riesling lover.
