A similar example of this model is illustrated in John Norie, Caddy Spoons, An Illustrated Guide, plate 57 and another, dated 1877 is in the collection of the Birmingham Assay office and was exhibited at Goldsmith's Hall, Matthew Boulton and the Toymakers Silver From the Birmingham Assay Office, 1982 and illustrated as number 91 in the exhibition catalogue.
