MARK OF I. FREEMAN & SONS, LONDON, 1945
Of shaped circular section supported on three pad feet, engraved with a presentation inscription - 13¾in. (35cm.) diameter, 36oz.
The inscription reads: 'Presented to Sir Alfred Lane Beit Bart. by members and friends of The South East St. Pancras Conservation Association in recognition and appreciation of his work to the Constituency as Parliamentary Candidate and Representative from 1928 to 1945'

Lot Essay

Sir Alfred Lane Beit, second baronet (1903-1994), was educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford, succeeding to the baronetcy on the death of his father, Sir Otto John Beit, in 1930.
