Each with a foliate scroll arch broken pediment centred by a scroll cartouche, the frieze hung with floral swags, with stylised cornucopia trailing to foliate scrolls, the later plates on a stipple ground and foliate border flanked by tassle-hung drapery swags, with a scallop shell in the shaped apron below, later gilt

The pier-glasses, with architectural tablet corners and ionic-scrolled temple pediments, are designed in the George II Roman fashion promoted by James Gibbs's Book of Architecture, 1728, and William Jones's The Gentleman or Builders Companion, 1739.
