This design of the three fishes in underglaze-red originated in the Xuande period and is mainly found on stem cups. A pair of Yongzheng dishes with this pattern was included in the Christie's Hong Kong sale, 29 April 2002, lot 638. Although the current dish shows more detailed 'fish pattern', it can obviously be linked with the pair sold in Hong Kong
