And a Regency pink wax portrait relief of Princess Charlotte Augusta, in profile to the right with hair tied in a chignon, the ebonised brass-mounted frame inscribed CHARLOTTE AUGUSTA BORN 7 JAN 1796, MARRIED MAY 2 1816, DIED 6 NOV 1817, with circular paper label to the reverse inscribed CALDER HOUSE -- the wax - 1¼in. Princess Charlotte Augusta, was the only child of George IV. She married Leopold of Saxe-Coburg in 1816, afterwards King of the Belgians, and died in childbirth a year and a half later in 1817.
