An early 19th century 18ct. gold rattle,
with foliate three-colour gold whistle and engraved pear-shaped bells, one deficient, set with a coral teething stick, the mount stamped with maker's mark, I.R.I.M. for John Ray and James Montague, hall marks for London 1816.
