Randolph's "Riding a Raid," a popular rebel song composed in Richmond, Va. to honor J.E.B. Stuart. The lithograph on the cover (done by E. Orehen) shows Stuart in full dress uniform astride his horse, holding his sword in his left hand, while his right clutches the reins of his horse. He is depicted with cape and his trademark plumed hat, all of which is evoked in the song's lyrics, which go to the melody of "Bonnie Dundee."
