Inverted pear-shaped, the detachable stem formed as a tree trunk applied with a figure holding an axe, on a slightly domed circular foot, with beaded and foliate borders, the lower body of the cup chased with a band of scrolls and foliage on a partly-matted ground, the cover with urn-shaped finial applied with bands of foliage, marked on cup
