Formed as a bee-skep, the ribbon-tied reeded sides and detachable domed cover with cast bee finial, the circular stand with similar border, each later engraved on the underside with two crests with baron's coronet above, each marked
The honey-pot, 4in. (10cm.) high; the stand, 5 3/8in. (13.5cm.) diam.

The crests are those of Sackville and West, presumably for Mortimer, 1st Baron Sackville (1820-1888).
