Shaped oval and each on four claw-and-ball feet with panels of scrolls above, with two shell and scroll bracket handles and detachable domed covers with detachable pineapple finials, chased with a band of shells, foliage scrolls and gadroons, each engraved with a coat-of-arms, the covers with a crest, marked on bases and covers
7½in. (19cm.) long
40oz. (1,267gr.)
The arms are those of Jocelyn with another in pretence, probably Salusbury or Salisbury (2)
