Cylindrical, the hinged flat cover applied with cast flower and foliage finial, the sides and cover bright-cut with vertical bands and borders of foliate scrolls on a partly-textured ground, with pseudo Chinese characters to the sides, the front with oval cartouche suspended from a ribbon, engraved with a crest, marked on base and cover, with a silver key
