A set of four George II silver dishes
Mark of Thomas Heming, London, 1758, one with maker's mark only struck four times, and one with maker's mark only struck six times
Each formed as a leaf, with strapwork-wrapped gadrooned borders and reeded loop handle with foliate terminals, each engraved with a coat-of-arms and a crest with baron's coronet above, each marked on reverse, also engraved with scratchweights '30=18'; '30=17'; 'N1 30"0'; and 'N2 30=5'

The arms are those of Curzon with Hanmer in pretence for Assheton, 1st Baron Curzon (1729-1820) and his first wife Esther (d.1764), only daughter and heir of William Hanmer of The Fenns, co. Flint, whom he married in 1756. (4)
