Each shaped circular, with moulded and gadrooned border, engraved with a coat-of-arms, the reverse engraved twice with a crest, each marked on reverse, also engraved with number and scratchweight: 'No 1 * 18*14'; 'No 2 17*10'; 'No 4 * 18*14'; 'No 5 18 19'; 'No 18*18*11'; 'No 20 * 18-3'; 'No 23 * 18*18'; 'N 27"18"12'; 'N 29"18"16'; 'N 41"18"19'; 'N 42"18"16'; 'N 47=18=12'

The arms are those of Edgcumbe, for George, 1st Earl of Mount Edgcumbe (1764-1795). George Edgcumbe inherited the family estates and the barony on the death of his unmarried brother in 1761. He was later created Viscount Mount Edgcumbe and Valletort in 1781 and finally Earl of Mount Edgcumbe in 1789. He married Emma, daughter and heiress of John Gilbert, Archbishop of York, in 1761. An eminent naval officer, he attained the rank of Admiral of the Blue. (12)
