A PAIR OF SEVRES-STYLE TURQUOISE-GROUND FLARED FLOWER VASES AND STANDS
CIRCA 1830, IRON-RED CROWNED IMITATION SEVRES MARKS TO STANDS, PROBABLY ENGLISH
After 18th Century vase hollandois, the flared shaped oval section bodies painted with vignettes of children and trailing flowers and fruit, within tooled gilt scroll and flower cartouches, the turquoise ground gilt with flowers and leaves suspended from bows, the pierced conforming bases reserved with panels of flowers and gilt diaper-pattern and husk ornament, gilt dentil rims, small section of one stand broken, the other cracked
