A GEORGE III OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE WINE-COOLER
CIRCA 1800
Slightly flaring cylindrical on collet foot with moulded borders and reeded bands, applied with two reeded shell handles, and with detachable circular collar and fixed plain cylindrical liner, the side engraved with a crest with visount's coronet above
7¼ in. (18.2 cm.) high
The crest is that of Byng, for the Viscount Torrington
