A ROYAL PRESENTATION ANTIQUE SEED PEARL AND ENAMEL STICK PIN
CIRCA 1835
Designed as a blue enamel and seed pearl 'V' monogram surmounted by a red and green enamel Royal princess' coronet, in fitted case, the cover stamped with initial 'V' with Royal crown above
3 15/16 in. (9.8 cm.) long
The initial V is for Princess Victoria (1840-1901), daughter of Queen Victoria, and later Empress Frederick of Prussia.
Provenance
Presumably presented to Henry, 4th Earl Strafford, K.C.V.O., C.B. (1831-1899), Equerry in Ordinary to Queen Victoria, by Princess Victoria (1840-1901) and by descent.
