LONDON, 1770, MAKER'S MARK APPARENTLY LACKING
Shaped circular on four paw feet and with moulded border wtih shell motifs, later engraved with a border of scrolling flowers and foliage, the centre later engraved with two crests and motto with viscount's coronet above, marked on reverse, also engraved with scratchweight '63 I 15'

The crests are those of Byng, for George, Viscount Enfield, later 2nd Earl of Strafford (1806-1886)
