A VICTORIAN SILVER CRUET-FRAME
MARK OF WILLIAM KER REID, LONDON, 1853
The double-circle frame on four scroll and pad feet, with three-ring bottle-holders and scroll handle, the faceted bottles each with star-cut base and faceted silver collar mount, hinged foliate cover and scroll handle, the frame engraved with two crests and motto with earl's coronet above, marked on base of frame and on bottle collars and covers
8 in. (20 cm.) high
The frame - 15 oz. (467 gr.)
The crests are those of Byng, for John, 1st Earl of Strafford G.C.B. (1772-1860) (3)
