The corona issuing six branches above six C-scrolled open cage supports with leaf base issuing eighteen banches and a foliate boss issuing fifteen branches, with 10 later green glass inserts, replacements, traces of old gilding, six candle holders lacking

Lot Essay

Two chandeliers, similar in design and age to the present lot, are in the Palace of Guimaraes -- located ten miles from Braga -- which was built for the Portuguese Royal Family in the early 16th century.
