engraving, 1514, a fine, atmospheric impression, closest to Meder b ('harmonious and sunny, brownish and warm'), with the vertical bars seen in early impressions still evident, trimmed within the platemark but retaining a fillet of blank paper outside the subject, small skilfull repairs on the reverse at the upper sheet corners and the lower right corner, occasional tiny nicks at the sheet edges, a horizontal drying crease visible only on the reverse, otherwise in very good condition, framed
