The Raising of Lazarus: Small Plate (B., Holl. 72; H. 198)
etching with touches of drypoint, 1642, a good impression of the first state (of two), with the delicate lines on Lazarus's forehead and behind his head and the sulphur tinting still clearly visible, with narrow margins, some light-staining, a small paper loss in the upper margin, the upper sheet edge and right corner stained, the tip of the lower left corner missing, a very small thin spot and a few tiny nicks at the left sheet edge, old mounting tape along the upper sheet edge verso.
