linocut, 1962, on Arches, second (final) state, signed, dated and dedicated in ink 'pour mon ami Janot Picasso le 5.2.65.', a proof aside from the edition of fifty published by L. Leiris, 1963, with wide margins, remains of glue and some associated surface abrasions near the upper sheet edge verso (just visible recto), otherwise in good condition
B. 350 x 273 mm., S. 630 x 450 mm.
Provenance
Jean Bongiovanni, a gift from the artist of the 1960s, and thence by decent.
