A Roman pale green glass double balsamarium
the twin tubes wound with spiral threads, with applied aubergine twin handles, folded at rim -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) high, 4th-5th Century A.D.; a similar glass flask, with cylindrical neck, the flattened globular body with deep horizontal groove on each side -- 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) high; a thin glass jug, the tapering body with depressions around the shoulder, the applied handle folded at everted rim -- 5 5/8in. (14.3cm.) high; an olive-green squat jar, the shallow circular body with indented base and short cylindrical neck -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; and two miniature glass vessels: a white unguentarium -- 2¼in. (5.8cm.) high, and a squat turquoise jar with everted rim -- 1 3/8in. (3.5cm.) high, all circa 2nd-4th Century A.D. (6)
