A LUDWIGSBURG MINIATURE FIGURE OF A BUTCHER'S GIRL
CIRCA 1765-70, BLUE INTERLACED C MONOGRAM TO CORNER OF BASE AT BACK, UNDERSIDE INCISED J:W:S:
Wearing a white bonnet with puce straps, a black choker with a gilt pendant, a red bodice over a white chemise leaving her right shoulder bare, a purple-edged white apron with purple clustered dots, a blue-edged white skirt with blue clustered dots, and yellow shoes, standing holding a tray of sausages, on a shaped green-washed base with canted corners (minute chip to bonnet, straps partially lacking, minute chipping to edge of base, slight wear to enamels)
