A 'GIRL-IN-A-SWING' GOLD-MOUNTED DOUBLE-SCENT-BOTTLE AND STOPPERS
CIRCA 1755, CHARLES GOUYN'S FACTORY, ST. JAMES'S
Modelled as a sleeping girl with a seated mastiff by her side, wearing a flowered dress, seated on rockwork before a leafy tree-trunk with a single pink rose, on a mound base painted with scattered sprays, a flower-spray to the underside, one stopper formed as a resting butterfly, the other as the mastiff's head (minor chipping to one leaf, very minor wear to mastiff's muzzel)
