CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, DREHER'S TO CUP AND * TO SAUCER, GILDER'S Z. TO SAUCER
The cup painted with travellers in a mountainous wooded landscape and with figures crossing a bridge by a tower, the saucer with merchants among barrels by an estuary, each within elaborate diaper-panelled ombrierte scroll cartouches surmounted by a tasselled baldacchino flanked by purple figures and with scattered indianische Blumen, the borders with four purpurmalerei panels of merchants on a band of gilt scrolling foliage (some wear to gilt borders, rims and handle and slight wear to cartouche of saucer)
