CIRCA 1680-85, MANGANESE-BLUE SVE MONOGRAM 12. FOR SAMUEL VAN EENHORN
Painted in underglaze blue and manganese with two Orientals in a landscape with trees, shrubs, rocks and pavilions, the reverse with three standing figures, the waisted lower part with a band with interwoven precious objects divided at intervals by oval panels above a band of down-turned lappets, the upper part with a band of elaborate down-turned lappets reserved with white scrolls and flowerheads below the short neck, the domed cover with a band of similar lappets about a knop finial (slight chipping and flaking to rims, minute scratches and faults to surface, cover with some chipping to rim and flaking to finial)
